FUNCINPEC President Believes in Cambodia's Further Progress

TAKEO: The President of FUNCINPEC Party, Prince Norodom Chakravuth, has expressed his belief that participating in, solving and contributing to helping the Cambodian people will make Cambodia more advanced.

Speaking at a gathering of provincial, district and commune leaders under the FUNCINPEC structure in Takeo province, Prince Norodom Chakravuth said that all party members have many other missions they must continue to participate in, to help solve problems and contribute to making people's lives be more rich and prosperous in the Kingdom of Cambodia, so that the country as a whole can also be more advanced and developed.

The Prince also encouraged all FUNCINPEC Commune / District Council candidates who will participate in the upcoming election to be united with the people, to protect the voters and to serve the people honestly, in all situations.

The 5th Commune / District Council Election 2022 will start on 5 June 2022, to elect new councilors to replace those who have completed their terms or retired.

FUNCINPEC has fielded 9,407 candidates, including 3,589 women, to run in the election, the third largest party participating in the race.
